Maria Skillas
Co-founder and CEO
Maria is the co-founder and CEO of Got Ya LLC, leading the vision for sustainable, problem-solving solutions. She prioritizes eco-friendly, health-conscious and biodegradable products with reusable or recyclable packaging for the Travel Nanny Kits.
A Georgia Tech graduate with a degree in Industrial Management, Maria’s diverse background spans customer service, a twenty-year career as an international flight attendant and extensive volunteering.
Growing up, her older brother’s involvement in the Boy Scouts instilled in her the motto Be Prepared—a principle that has guided her throughout life. Her experiences—including raising three children—fuel her passion for creating thoughtful products that help individuals and families stay ready for life’s challenges.
Maria is committed to giving back, donating a portion of Travel Nanny profits to charities that align with the company’s mission of supporting people, pets and the planet. With the assistance of her children, she has conducted Trap, Neuter & Release of adult feral cats, rescued and re-homed numerous strays, and socialized feral kittens into loving indoor pets.
